Progressive Expands Large-Truck Repair Network

Aug. 5, 2013

Aug. 5, 2013—Progressive Insurance recently announced that it now has more than 100 repair facilities as part of its network of heavy truck repair shops.

Progressive has focused on working with shops that are easily accessible from almost anywhere in the country and provide several benefits including limited lifetime guarantees on all repairs, priority status above non-Progressive customers, repair management and regular updates on the progress of the repair, and post-repair quality review before the vehicle is returned.

The shops work on a range of large vehicles from straight trucks to full 18-wheel tractor-trailers. The shops also repair specialized heavy vehicles that have been customized for a specific business need.

"The overwhelmingly positive response to our network repair shop experience led us to expand from 25 to more than 100 in just a few years," said Thomas Caldwell, claims process manager at Progressive. "Each shop must meet a specific set of criteria to ensure speed, convenience and high-quality repairs. In our opinion, these shops are the best of the best."
