CCC appoints new chief technology officer

May 23, 2011 CCC Information Services Inc. has appointed Pervinder Johar as its new chief technology officer (CTO).

Johar will be responsible for CCC's technology strategy, product research and development, information technology and data center operations. Johar most recently served as vice president of Global IT at Hewlett Packard, and before that, he was executive vice president of global research and development and CTO for Manhattan Associates.

"Pervinder brings significant depth and range of technology experience to the organization, and is known as a strategic business leader who is successful in creating significant new product and technology wins," said CCC Chairman and CEO Githesh Ramamurthy. "This is critical to the company and its position as a leader in the development of mobility and cloud-based business applications, including next-generation claims capabilities for insurance carriers and enterprise resource planning for collision repair facilities."
