BASF hires new distribution services manager

Aug. 31, 2012—BASF has appointed Karen Broccardo as distribution services manager for the company’s automotive refinish business group.

Chuck Soeder, vice president of BASF’s automotive refinish and industrial coatings solutions, said Broccardo will be responsible for sales forecasting, sales compensation administration, ColorSource distribution administration, customer relationship management tools, sales history and data administration. She will be based in Southfield, Mich.

Prior to joining BASF, Broccardo previously served as sales operations specialist for Van Buren Township, Mich.-based Ricardo, where she was responsible for U.S. sales forecasting the company’s global implementation team.
