QPC Names New Executive Director

May 28, 2013

May 28, 2013—The Quality Parts Coalition (QPC) has appointed Dan Morrissey as its new executive director.

Morrissey, who serves as a member of the QPC’s board of directors and chairman of the Automotive Body Parts Association (ABPA), will take over as executive director of the QPC immediately.

Morrissey replaces Eileen Sottile in the position, who has served as executive director for the past seven years.

“It has been a true honor to serve the QPC over the years as executive director,” Sottile said. “I am confident that with Dan’s leadership we will further build upon our momentum to secure a legislative fix to our design patent challenge.”

The QPC said Sottile will continue to participate as an active member of the organization.

“On behalf of the Coalition, I thank [Eileen Sottile] for her many years of service and look forward to continuing to work with her to achieve the Coalition’s legislative objective,” Morrissey said. “The successful passage of pro-consumer and pro-competition legislation is extremely important to our members and car owners, ensuring there is a choice for quality alternative repair parts.”
