ABRA Acquires Multiple Shop Locations

March 5, 2013—ABRA Auto Body & Glass this week acquired four new collision repair centers in four U.S. states.

Two of ABRA's acquisitions will operate as company-owned repair centers, and two will operate as franchise locations. The facilities are located in Omaha, Neb.; Wilmington, N.C.; Lebanon, Tenn.; and Clearfield, Utah.

“There is no doubt we are in accelerated growth mode and are dedicated to following through on our long-term expansion and acquisition plan,” said Duane Rouse, president and CEO of Brooklyn Center, Minn.-based ABRA. “We are focused on the future and fully expect to increase our business opportunities while expanding our national footprint in new and existing markets.”

ABRA's latest acquisitions increase the company's total number of repair centers to 141 nationwide. Of those, 95 locations are company-owned and 46 are independent franchises.

“Not only are we are gaining momentum, but it is full steam ahead,” said Tim Adelmann, executive vice president of business development for ABRA. “We are working hard to increase our presence in the markets we serve and are focused on an operational excellence philosophy that gives us a competitive edge.”
