Nov. 23, 2011—The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) recently announced the 2011 SEMA Show in Las Vegas attracted more than 132,000 attendees from more than 100 countries.
The SCRS also highlighted the following post-show figures:
• Attendees who identified themselves as collision repair industry professionals increased by more than 20 percent compared to 2010.
• Attendees who work specifically in collision repair facilities increased by 30 percent compared to 2010.
• The Collision Repair and Refinish section of the show floor had a 21 percent increase in exhibitors, and covered 25 percent more square footage compared to 2010.
• Registration for SCRS’ Repairer Driven Education (RDE) series increased by 400 percent compared to 2010, including a 160 percent increase in full series pass registrations.
"All aspects of the 2011 SEMA Show exceeded our expectations. The show was great, the atmosphere was electric and the RDE keynote was inspiring,” said Aaron Clark, chairman of the SCRS. “I received dozens of compliments from show and RDE attendees, which was very satisfying for all of us.
