Oct. 5, 2011—The Automotive Service Association (ASA) on Wednesday announced it recently launched a redesigned website with a reorganized format and interactive content.
ASA’s website now includes a “Communities” section, which gives ASA members access to online forums, document libraries, wikis and blogs. The new section allows for collaboration and communication between ASA members, staff and volunteer leadership in a professional environment, according to the ASA.
“We’re especially excited about the new Communities feature of the website,” said Ron Pyle, president and chief staff executive of the ASA. “It provides members, volunteers and staff the opportunity to work more closely together and share their wealth of knowledge in an easy-to-use and friendly environment.”
In addition, the “ASA Membership” section of the website is now divided into categorized listings. The “Consumers” section of the website now includes vehicle care tips, free resources and the ASA Shop Locator.
ASA said more website features will be rolled out in the near future that will provide users with expanded capabilities to research, communicate and collaborate.
“Since its inception, the ASA website has always been a vehicle to disseminate important information to the industry,” Pyle said. “The unveiling of this redesign effort is a reflection of the direction we are taking to continually offer our membership, and the industry as a whole, the relevant information they need.”
