Aug. 23, 2011 — A new annual event specifically developed for multi-shop operators (MSOs) will be offered for the first time during this fall’s Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW).
The all-day event, called the MSO Symposium, will feature educational sessions and networking opportunities specific to MSOs. Specific content will be announced in the near future, according to ASRW organizers. The symposium is set for Oct. 6, and is available to the first 100 qualified MSOs to register at naceexpo.com. Registration is limited to three people per company.
“Independent shop owners will always be the bread and butter of our audience, but as the industry's show, we're committed to changing with the ever-evolving needs of the industry,” said Ron Pyle, president of the Automotive Service Association (ASA), which sponsors ASRW. “MSOs have distinct needs for education and networking, and we feel ASRW is the appropriate setting for this program. We look forward to offering this symposium on an annual basis.”
ASRW consists of the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) and the Congress of Automotive Repair & Service (CARS). The events are set for Oct. 5–8 in Orlando, Fla. For more information, go to asrwevents.com.
