    PPG appoints Benckart GM of Automotive Refinish USCA

    Feb. 5, 2010--PPG Automotive Refinish has named Gregory Benckart general manager of Automotive Refinish USCA effective March 1.

    Benckart will oversee North American responsibilities for PPG’s automotive refinish business out of its headquarters in Strongsville, Ohio.

    Benckart has been with PPG for more than 29 years. He is currently the general manager of sales and marketing for the North American automotive refinish business.

    Benckart holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio, and an MBA from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
