October 12, 2010—The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) is bringing together experts for a panel discussion on converting to the waterborne refinishing system at the 2010 SEMA Show.
The discussion, "Waterborne: How to Stay Afloat," is part of SCRS' Repairer Driven Education (RDE) series taking place SEMA in Las Vegas, according to an SCRS press release_notes. The panel will be moderated by Guy Bargnes, vice president of sales and marketing for Painters Supply and Equipment, and features shop owners who have implemented waterborne.
The panelists will discuss the challenges and benefits of their experience, how they successfully made the switch, pitfalls they would avoid based on their experience, and considerations to take into account when converting.
"There is little question more repairers are facing waterborne implementation than before," noted Bargnes. "This presents a wonderful opportunity to the repairer, if he or she understands what it takes to adapt successfully. This discussion was developed to promote that kind of understanding."
SEMA takes place Nov. 2-5. For more information, go to semashow.com.
