Meeting to Explain December OSHA Changes

Dec. 10, 2013—The Automotive Service Association-Midwest (ASA-Midwest) announced that it will hold an educational session about upcoming changes to OSHA compliance requirements on Jan. 21 in Columbia, Mo.

The meeting will feature an OSHA compliance, safety and health officer from the Department of Labor providing extensive insight into OSHA changes that went into effect at the start of December.

The top-10 most common citations that shops are fined for in the industry will also be highlighted, as well as how to avoid such violations and potential fines.

The meeting will be held at Bandana’s BBQ from 6:30–8:30 p.m.
