Audatex introduces AutoWatch app

July 11, 2012

July 11, 2012—Audatex North America Inc. launched a new Android application for AutoWatch, a Web-based repair tracking platform.

Audatex said AutoWatch helps shops improve customer service and communication by allowing vehicle owners to view the progress of their repairs online. Repairers can upload digital photos and repair status information throughout the repair process through the Web, email or text messages. The free Android application allows repairers to make the same updates through their mobile phones, Audatex said.

“With mobile access becoming increasingly important in today’s connected world, the new app empowers collision repair shops with an easy way to update and access AutoWatch data from anywhere at any time, and supports our mission to connect and support repairers, vehicle owners and insurers through technology,” said Patrick Schmidlin, vice president of product management for Audatex.
