Numbers: Certifications and Average Repair Orders

A meaningful KPI sets apart shops that are OEM certified.

According to the 2021 FenderBender Industry Survey, 49 percent of responding collision repair shops said they hold at least one OEM certification. What’s the difference between those shops* and shops that have no certifications? Certified shops reported higher average repair orders.

*8 percent of shops reported they had no certifications but planned to become certified. They are not included in the figures below.
