I-CAR president plans to retire at the end of 2010

September 2, 2010—John Edelen, I-CAR president and CEO, announced on Thursday that he plans to retire at the end of 2010.

“It has been a privilege to work with the staff, the instructors and the volunteers of I-CAR, and its outstanding board of directors and supporters over the past three years,” said Edelen, according to an I-CAR press release_notes. “And it has been a pleasure to work with the industry on the I-CAR Professional Development Program.”

I-CAR was prepared for Edelen’s retirement and has called for candidates to fill the position.
