The new 12,200-square-foot repair center will operate under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name. The Boyd Group said the new facility expands its coverage in the local market, and bridges the company’s service area between existing locations.

"This location will allow us to better service vehicle owners and insurance partners in the area with an expanded footprint, both locally and across Washington, as we continue to execute on our strategic growth objectives to further increase our presence throughout North America," said Tim O'Day, president and chief operations officer of The Boyd Group's U.S. operations.

The Boyd Group said it now operates 11 locations in Washington, and 137 total locations throughout the U.S.
