BMW to Produce Face Masks

BMW announced it will start producing face masks to aid both its workers and the general public.

April 9, 2020—BMW will soon be able to produce several hundred thousand masks per day, reported The New York Times.

The company has already delivered 100,000 masks to the government from its own existing stocks, and handed over another 50,000 masks and a million medical gloves on Wednesday, according to the report.

BMW's facilities are under a production hault that is being extended until April 30.
