Dec. 11, 2019—Enterprise Holdings this week announced that Chrissy Taylor, the company’s president and chief operating officer, has been promoted to chief executive officer.

Taylor will fill the CEO role currently held by Pam Nicholson, who was promoted to the position in 2013 and is retiring at the end of December. This transition marks one of only a handful of times that a woman-to-woman CEO succession has occurred with a company of this size (Enterprise generated $25.9 billion in annual revenue in its most recent fiscal year).

As CEO, Taylor will oversee global strategy and operations for Enterprise Holdings, Inc. and manage the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands, which offer car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales and other transportation services.
