CIC Releases Seebachans' Consumer Impact Interview

Dec. 8, 2019
The Collision Industry Conference has released a video of an impactful interview with crash victims held recently in Las Vegas.

Dec. 8, 2019—The Collision Industry Conference (CIC) announced on Thursday a video release - on the Conference's YouTube channel - of the Seebachan crash-victim interview from the meeting held Nov. 5 in Las Vegas.

The interview takes a personal look at the impact of body shops' decisions on the consumer. The video can be found here. The interview focuses on the human impact of poor repair decisions, and not on the companies or individuals involved in the court case.

CIC Chairman Jeff Peevy fulfilled his promise to fill the "empty chair" that has represented the consumer during the 2019 CIC meetings. Jeff and his wife, Marie, interviewed Marcia and Matthew Seebachan, owners of the Honda Fit that was involved in a December 2013 crash and the subject of the Seebachan v. John Eagle Collision Center case.

During the CIC meeting, FenderBender associate editor Kelly Beaton touched base with the Seebachans to find out the reasoning behind attending the CIC meeting.
