Penske Truck Leasing opens collision repair center in Maryland

March 6, 2012—Penske Truck Leasing Co. on Monday announced the opening of a collision repair center in Annapolis Junction, Md., dedicated to collision repair and refinishing work on commercial trucks and vehicles.

Penske said its new 15,500-square-foot facility is the company’s 17th collision repair center in North America. The shop, which is equipped with a high-efficiency spray booth and lighting to minimize energy and fuel consumption, will serve Penske's truck fleet, the company’s contract customers and other commercial truck fleets.

"Prior to opening this Annapolis Junction collision repair center, Penske vehicles, and our customers’ vehicles, were being serviced from our repair centers in Pennsylvania and North Carolina," said Jack Gallagher, senior vice president of the Northeast region for Penske. "Now, we are in the perfect position to attain new business in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C., areas."
