March 3, 2011 — CCC Information Services on Thursday announced plans to integrate its Total Repair Platform program with Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s ARMS Automotive Exchange.
The integration, scheduled for completion by the end of March, will allow shops using CCC ONE Workflow to quickly update ARMS users on in-process repairs. When repair information affecting completion time is entered into a repair plan in Workflow, that information will be automatically and securely communicated to ARMS.
“We view this as another opportunity to leverage the CCC ONE platform—not only streamlining processes within the repair facility, but going beyond the four walls to create a seamless workflow among claim constituents,” said Debbie Day, senior vice president of marketing and product management at CCC.
David Smith, president of Enterprise, said the integration helps make the replacement rental process more efficient by eliminating manual exchanges of repair data.
“That efficiency gives body shops more time to focus on actually repairing cars, on time and on budget,” he said.
CCC provides advanced software, work flow tools and enabling technologies to the automotive claims and collision repair industries. Its client base includes more than 350 insurance companies and more than 20,000 repair facilities.
Enterprise has more than 6,000 neighborhood and airport locations in the U.S., Canada and Europe. Its ARMS application has more than 13,000 registered users.
