According to findings from the 2019 FenderBender Industry Survey, shops capable of repairing aluminum components are viewed far more favorably than those that aren’t.

According to the 2019 FenderBender Industry Survey, 63 percent of responding body shops had the capability of repairing aluminum components and another 16 percent had plans to soon become capable of such repairs. As one might imagine, aluminum-capable shops tended to have better annual revenues, with 52 percent of aluminum-capable shops boasting annual revenues of at least $2.5 million, while just 14 percent of shops that aren’t aluminum capable had such solid annual revenue.
