CIECA Names Interim Executive Director

CIECA recently announced that Ed Weidmann will assume the role of interim executive director, effective Aug. 1.

Aug. 1, 2019—CIECA announced that Ed Weidmann has been named its interim executive director, effective Aug.1.

Weidmann has worked in the insurance and collision repair industries for more than 42 years. He held multiple management positions during his 39-year career with State Farm insurance company and participated on many industry boards and advisory councils. After retiring from State Farm, Weidmann opened WEIDMANN CONSULTING and has been providing services to both domestic and international companies.

He joined CIECA more than 10 years ago as a trustee, representing State Farm. Since then, he has held the positions of treasurer, vice-chair, and chairman of the board in 2008 and 2014, and has served on CIECA’s Board of Trustees.
