CHICAGO July 12, 2019—CARSTAR on Wednesday honored a pair of partners as its franchisees of the year: Paul Cross, and Jamie White.
White operates CARSTAR Dalton South and CARSTAR Ken's North and was the consolidator's U.S. honoree. Cross operates CARSTAR Brancroft, CARSTAR Haliburton, and CARSTAR Lindsay in Canada. Franchise Partner of the Year is the highest honor given in the CARSTAR system, and the winners were chosen on several criteria, such as being brand compliant.
White, 36, credited his largely youthful, energetic staff for positioning him for such an award.
"My employees are amazing," White told FenderBender. "They're willing to do whatever it takes. They're willing to grow and eager to learn."
Also at the event, CARSTAR honored the charitable contributions of its franchise partners in the effort to fight cystic fibrosis. In Chicago, CARSTAR operators from across North America took part in the consolidator's annual charity walk in support of CF research.
Named the Soul Stroll, more than 300 CARSTAR employees took part in the walk. The event concluded in Chicago's Grant Park, with awards for the top CF fundraisers in the CARSTAR network honored. A few of the top CARSTAR fundraisers included:
