Facebook Rolls Out Appointment Manager Feature

May 10, 2019
Facebook this week rolled out a number of features that could help small businesses like body shops.

May 10, 2019—Facebook has rolled out new features to help small businesses like collision repair facilities, according to a report from Social Barrel.

Among such products announced on Tuesday include Automated Ads, new video editing tool, and appointment manager. Businesses can now accept appointments in a new update that is coming as a result of expansion made to the method of booking appointments in Messenger. And that's not all; all appointments can now be managed across Facebook and Instagram.

All appointments can be synchronized with the business owner’s personal calendar or with other appointment tools such as HomeAdvisor.

The Automated Ads feature helps businesses answer questions about what kind of company they are and their goals for an ad campaign. Answers provided by owners of such businesses will then be used by Facebook to create recommendations for the audience they should target, as well as budget, how different versions of ads should look, and the message they should pass across.
