Calif. Shop to Close After 94 Years

March 15, 2019
The Cuilla Brother's Auto Body Shop on J Street has been in business for nearly a century but was recently sold to make room for a new development.

March 15, 2019—A mom-and-pop shop in midtown Sacramento, Calif., is closing, according to a report by KCRA.

The Cuilla Brother's Auto Body Shop on J Street has been in business for nearly a century. Now, however, it has been sold to make room for a new development in the area.

The Cuilla Brothers Auto Body Shop has been in business since 1925. It was founded by the current owner's grandfather, Christopher, and grand uncle, Sam.

"This is what fed our family -- this is three generations," Mary Cuilla said. "When I come in here, when the doors rattle, I think of my grandfather. Now most recently, I think of my dad."
