ASRW 2011 to offer complimentary meeting rooms

July 21, 2011

July 21, 2011 — Automotive Service and Repair Week (ASRW) has partnered with CCC Information Services Inc. to provide free private meeting rooms to any attendee or exhibitor at the event, which consists of NACE and CARS.

The rooms will be located just outside the ASRW Expo show floor in an area called The NACE Network – the ONE place to meet.” The area will have 11 rooms of various sizes, each with comfortable furnishings, wireless Internet, and a plasma flat screen, or screen projector with a laptop connection.

“We know a lot of meetings take place during ASRW, both on and off the show floor. To better accommodate all of the business that's going on this week, CCC Information Services is helping us create this unique new area where everyone can feel comfortable to meet,” said Automotive Service Association (ASA) President Ron Pyle. "It's close to the show floor, but not on the show floor. It's easy. It's free. We anticipate it to be a bustling area in the lobby during the show and encourage any and all participants of ASRW to take advantage of it.”

Rooms will be available Oct. 5-8, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Each room can be reserved for 90 minutes at a time.

“Meeting space at our industry events can be hard to come by, creating obstacles to the business conversations and networking that we've all come together to do,” said Jim Dickens, senior vice president of the Automotive Service Group at CCC. “The NACE Network space is being created to better support the important business conversations and networking that define ASRW.”

NACE (the Internal Autobody Congress & Exposition) and CARS (the Congress of Automotive Repair & Service) will take place Oct. 5-8 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. For more information, go to naceexpo.com or carsevent.com.
