SAS Safety Corp. donates safety glass to collision repair schools

Dec. 20, 2010—SAS Safety Corp. donated more than 6,000 pairs of their Killer Bee safety glasses to the Collision Repair Education Foundation, according to a foundation press release_notes.

The glasses will be distributed to schools that applied to the Ultimate Collision Education Makeover grant, and students applying for the Foundation’s 2011 spring scholarships and grants. The monetary value of the donation is approximately $12,000.

“We would like to thank SAS Safety Corp. for this incredible donation of safety glasses that will help keep collision students, the future professionals of this industry, protected and help instill safe habits as they learn to repair vehicles,” said Scott Kruger, Collision Repair Education Foundation executive director. “Through this donation, SAS Safety Corp. is now a member of the Foundation’s Industry Leadership Circle and joins a list of ever-growing industry leaders that are making an impact on collision student education.”
