Oct. 3, 2011

Oct. 3, 2011—Polk, a provider of automotive information and marketing solutions, on Friday announced Anthony Pratt, the organization’s director of forecasting for the Americas, was named president of the Society of Automotive Analysts (SAA).

Pratt’s two-year term began Oct. 1.

“Anthony’s leadership and our other involvement with SAA create a forum for us to further engage with relevant parties that ultimately bring insights to our customers and other stakeholders,” said Kendra Rawls, senior vice president of Polk. “Anthony has a strong command of automotive business issues and we’re very proud of his selection and what it offers to those he consults. We look forward to continuing to support the SAA organization in the future.”

Pratt has served on the SAA board since 2008. He succeeds Laurie Harbour of Harbour Results as president.

“I’d like to take the opportunity to thank Laurie for her guidance and leadership of SAA over some of the most challenging years in the automotive industry,” Pratt said. “I look forward to working with the SAA board to advance the Society’s mission to bring value to SAA members by keeping the organization at the forefront of the industry.”
