Nov. 21, 2018—CARSTAR recently added an education and training team to its corporate level. The CARSTAR education and training team will be working to ensure they provide stores with the up-to-date, industry-relevant training.
Some of the newest additions include:
- CARSTAR EDGE training: Role-based support to guide franchise partners through EDGE, the proprietary operational platform
- Direct Repair Program (DRP) training: courses built to help coach CARSTAR stores on requirements for specific insurers, as well as tools to encourage best practices
- I-CAR Training: collaborating with I-CAR
- OEM Training: sharing OEM training tools, guidelines and resources with the CARSTAR network
Other CARSTAR initiatives include partnering with industry veterans like Mike Anderson to offer Collision Advice webinars to the network and working with vendor partners to form programs around CARSTAR standard operating procedures, advanced vehicles repairs, new paint technology, and pre-and post-scan standards.
