LAS VEGAS, Nov. 2, 2018—CURT, a manufacturer of USA-made hitches and a complete line of towing products, won a Global Media Award this year at the 2018 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nev. for its revolutionary new Echo mobile brake control.

The Echo was engineered to be the brake control for the modern age, turning the driver’s smartphone into the brake control interface. Its design plugs in between any standard 7-way RV blade vehicle-trailer wiring connection. The Echo wirelessly connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth and uses the Echo Smart Control app to monitor all trailer brake activity. Compatible with most Apple and Android phones, the Echo makes it easy to plug in, set up and tow. It also stores multiple vehicle-trailer profiles for easy transfer between towing setups.

CURT received a 2018 Global Media Award from the INMA for the Echo™, calling it one of the best products at this year’s SEMA Show. It was chosen based on its level of international consumer appeal.
