3M Hire Our Heroes 500 Showcases Custom Painted Helmets

The 3M automotive aftermarket division, along with the Collision Repair Foundation, this week put its effort toward providing collision repair education opportunities for military members, launching the 3M Hire Our Heroes 500 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 31, 2018—The 3M automotive aftermarket division, along with the Collision Repair Foundation, this week put its effort toward providing collision repair education opportunities for military members, launching the 3M Hire Our Heroes 500 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

On Tuesday during the SEMA Show, representatives from several MSOs, independent collision repair companies, and industry partners competed in NASCAR stock cars. Legendary automotive designer Chip Foose and NASCAR Hall of Famer Richard Petty were among those scheduled to attend.

Companies competing in the race were scheduled to include CARSTAR, Gerber Collision & Glass, Auto Body Evolution, Caliber Collision, Fix Auto, Certified Collision Group, Garmat USA and Enterprise Rent-a-Car, to name just a few.
