Oct. 17, 2011

Oct. 17, 2011—ALLDATA on Monday announced the company will offer personal demonstrations for its new online Training Center during the 2011 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX).

The demonstrations will be held in ALLDATA’s AAPEX exhibitor booth, 3265, Nov. 1-3 in Las Vegas.

ALLDATA’s online Training Center, which launched in August and has more than 400 users, is an interactive website where customers can learn how to use ALLDATA products, said Marsha Egbert, manager of organizational development for ALLDATA. Users can access the Training Center around the clock.

There are currently 12 courses available within ALLDATA’s online Training Center. The courses cover ALLDATA Repair S3000, ALLDATA Collision S3500 and ALLDATA Manage, according to ALLDATA. The company said two more courses for ALLDATA Manage are in production, and several additional courses are planned. Courses take about 20 minutes to complete, and are divided into modules. Users are able to take entire courses or just view specific modules.

"The ALLDATA Training Center complements our products and gives customers another option for mastering all the features we pack into our products," said Peter Jones, training and sales development manager for ALLDATA. "This is a flexible option that incorporates proven learning methodologies, and it lets busy shop personnel train on their schedule.”
