FenderBender seeks entries for 2011 FenderBender Awards

May 2, 2011 — FenderBender magazine, the nation’s leading collision repair publication, announced a call for entries for its 2011 FenderBender Awards.

The awards, which are sponsored by Kia Motors of America, celebrate the achievements of six individuals who have positively impacted the collision repair industry through their leadership and innovation. Past winners have cited positive local news coverage and marketing opportunities as well as industry recognition as benefits of winning the award. FenderBender’s state-of-the-art website, fenderbenderawards.com, allows nominators to enter their submissions online simply and easily.

The six categories for the 2011 FenderBender Awards are:
• Executive—A shop owner or CEO;
• Management—The person who runs a shop on day-to-day basis;
• Administrative support—Front office staff members, including estimators;
• Shop worker—Shop floor employees;
• Vendor;
• Wild card—Anyone else who touches the collision repair industry.

One person from each of these categories will be selected for an award. The deadline for submissions is July 1 at 11:59 p.m. CST. The honorees will be featured with profiles in the October 2011 issue of FenderBender.
