English Color acquires Tennessee paint distributor

Oct. 5, 2012—English Color and Supply Inc., an automotive paint jobber based in Texas, has acquired three new stores in Tennessee.

English Color said it has acquired Auto Color Supply, a paint distributor with three store locations in the Tennessee communities of Murfreesboro, Shelbyville and Columbia. Auto Color Supply was previously owned by Pat Anderton. The company received the PPG Platinum Distributor of the Year award in 2009.

English Color now operates a total of 47 store locations throughout eight U.S. states, including Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas and Florida.
