The DRP’s Influence on Technology Purchases

April 1, 2018

In the 2017 FenderBender Tech+Tools Survey, there was a major difference between the technology upgrades at both DRP-heavy and DRP-light shops.

In a November 2017 FenderBender article, Mike Tikoyan, owner of NT Auto Body in Alexandria, Va., credited his strong DRP relationships for his attentiveness to proper training, equipment upgrades and KPI tracking. To test if that attentiveness tracks across the board for DRP-heavy shops, FenderBender used its 2017 Tech+Tools Survey to compare technology purchases between shops that receive either a lot or a little business from DRP agreements.
