Tool Budget Trends in the Industry

In the 2017 FenderBender Tech+Tools Survey, shops revealed how much money is being budgeted for specific tools.

Overall, the top three tool and equipment purchase priorities for shops that participated in the 2017 FenderBender Tech+Tools Survey were hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment and aluminum-specific tool. Those priorities shift, however, depending on how much shops are willing to dedicate to technology and tool budgets from their annual revenues. Here are the tools of the highest priority for varying budgets.
