PPG's Randy Dewing passes away

May 24, 2011 Randy Dewing, senior manager of the PPG Refinish MVP Business Solutions team, has passed away, the company announced Monday.

Dewing, who owned a consulting firm and collision repair shop before joining PPG, died on May 7.

"[Dewing's] industry experience and leadership qualities contributed significantly to the success of the Business Solutions team," PPG said in a statement release_notesd Monday. "His associates at PPG will remember his amiable and warm personality, professional work ethic, and dedication to family, customers, and teammates."

Dewing, who lived in Gilbert, Ariz., is survived by wife Lynn, children Joy, Amanda, Lindsay and Justin, and mother Katherine.
