DuPont Custom Finishes to introduce new paint technology at SEMA




Oct. 17, 2012—DuPont Custom Finishes recently announced it will have a presence at the 2012 SEMA Show with an exhibitor booth and a custom-built spray booth where the company plans to introduce several new paint color technologies.

DuPont Custom Finishes said it will introduce a line of 24 new basecoat candy CFX colors in its exhibitor booth on the show floor, number 22391 in Central Hall. The company will demonstrate new color technology, including Keyshot 3D Vehicle Rendering and Animation software, which is used for reading metallic, pearl and effect paint colors.

DuPont Custom Finishes will also have a custom-built spray booth on the show floor to feature its Cromax Pro Waterborne finishes. The company said it will conduct live demonstrations daily, and show attendees will have opportunities to spray the Cromax Pro products inside the booth, number 61080 near Central Hall.

DuPont Custom Finishes said it will also introduce its new IntelliMist Humidification System, an automatic humidification control technology for applying paint products in high heat and low humidity environments.

In addition, DuPont Custom Finishes will have several vehicles on display, such as a 1969 Camaro built by Dale Boesch and a 1932 Ford built by Craig Naff.

The 2012 SEMA Show is scheduled for Oct. 30-Nov. 2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. For more information, visit semashow.com.
