Elise Quadrozzi elected first female I-CAR chair

Jake Weyer

Feb. 24, 2011 — I-CAR's recently elected chair is the first woman to oversee the organization in its 30-year history.

Elise Quadrozzi, a knowledge management account executive at Crawford & Co., was elected earlier this month.

“I am honored to be chosen to lead the organization at this important time in its history, as we work to offer relevant training, encourage professional advancement and add even more value to industry-recognized designations," Quadrozzi said.

Quadrozzi has worked in the insurance industry for more than 20 years and has held numerous executive and management positions. She also has extensive experience in claims and operations management. In her current role, she is responsible for developing and marketing new e-learning applications for the property and casualty insurance industry. Her company, based in Atlanta, is the world’s largest independent provider of claims management solutions to the risk management and insurance industry.

Some of Quadrozzi’s past experience includes serving as senior vice president of claims and operations for AssuranceAmerica, working as a claims adjuster for John Hancock Property and Casualty, and working as director of accident management for Akzo Nobel Coatings.

She is an active mentor in her field and has been involved in I-CAR since 2008.

I-CAR is a nonprofit training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety and efficiency of collision repair. A board of representatives from throughout the industry sets its strategic direction and helps obtain resources to support its mission.
